ABOUT COLLIN ARMFIELD

I grew up in Augusta, Kansas, a small town near Wichita. After high school I attended the University of Missouri Kansas City where I graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology. After college I spent many years playing shows all over the country with touring punk, hardcore, metal, and other DIY style bands. When I wasn’t on tour I was working in warehouses and manufacturing. During this time, I became active in workers’ rights groups such as Fight for 15 and decided that attending law school would be the most beneficial way for me to protect all workers.   

In 2019, I moved to Portland to attend Lewis & Clark Law School. In law school I focused my curriculum on employment and labor law. During law school, I clerked for Northwest Workers Justice Project, helping low-wage and immigrant workers on employment law issues.  I also clerked for private employment law firms working on a variety of employment law issues. I graduated with my Juris Doctorate in 2022 and became licensed to practice in Oregon in 2023 as well as United States District Court for the District of Oregon in 2025.

In 2023 I began work as an associate attorney for a firm representing clients on cases involving sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, severance negotiations, and disability. In 2025 I joined Aldrich & Brunot to focus on workers compensation to continue my goal of helping and protecting workers.

When not practicing law, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending time with my wife and our three cats. I still play in a band but have also since picked up jazz guitar.
